A local home care service in Sudbury is seeking experienced RPNs to provide care for community and long-term clients. The position offers competitive pay of $35/hr, flexible shifts, and extensive benefits including vacation pay and group benefits. Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as an RPN.
  • Completion of a Police Vulnerable Sector Check within the last 6 months.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct assessments and reassessments.
  • Utilize medical technology and equipment such as g-tube, ventilator, and trach.
  • Provide medication support and administration.
  • Complete reports and document care notes regularly.
  • Communicate with family and supervisors about any changes in client care.
  • Meet the Standards of the College of Nurses of Ontario at all times.

  • All other duties, as assigned
Qualifications
  • Current CNO (College of Nurses of Ontario) registration and in good standing
  • Valid First Aid/CPR certificate
  • Completion of a Police Vulnerable Sector Check within the last 6 months
  • Experience with pediatric g-tube, ventilator, and trach is an asset
  • Must have a current license and reliable vehicle
