A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A COMMERCIAL PROJECT MANAGER

As a Commercial Project Manager I, you are the driving force behind every project's success. You lead with confidence and clarity, turning complex scopes into well-executed plans that deliver outstanding results. Your day is a blend of coordination, problem-solving, and leadership as you guide crews, subcontractors, and partners through each phase of the project. You collaborate with clients, adjusters, and internal teams to ensure alignment, transparency, and quality from start to finish. Whether you're reviewing estimates, visiting job sites, or managing change orders, you stay focused on safety, efficiency, and client satisfaction. Your leadership keeps the work flowing, your decisions move projects forward, and your professionalism earns lasting trust with every job you complete.

Q ualifications
  • 2+ years of project supervision or equivalent experience in commercial restoration or construction
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post‑secondary education in construction or a related field an asset
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects, budgets, and schedules simultaneously
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, building codes, and safety requirements
  • Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and comfort using project management software and mobile applications
  • Strong problem‑solving, organizational, and time‑management abilities
  • IICRC or equivalent certifications an asset; ability to obtain Water Remediation Technician (WRT) certification required
  • Provincial asbestos certification required or ability to obtain
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving abstract
  • Includes participation in a rotating on‑call schedule
  • Ability to complete work activities that may involve material handling, lifting, climbing, and the use of personal protective equipment including respirators, safety footwear, and other required gear
  • Ability to travel for extended periods for CAT assignments
