Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a personal book of business, ensuring all aspects of client accounts are properly serviced and maintained.
  • Handle inbound client inquiries, providing consultation and advice on policy changes, coverage options, and related insurance matters.
  • Process policy changes, endorsements, renewals, cancellations, reinstatements, and other account servicing tasks accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Prepare and process submissions, proposals, cover notes, certificates, invoices, and customer correspondence.
  • Conduct risk analysis by reviewing clients’ coverage, exposures, and loss experience to recommend appropriate products and services.
  • Market accounts for new, renewal, and midterm changes; liaise with underwriters to negotiate terms and resolve outstanding issues.
  • Collaborate with Producers and internal teams to develop strategies, address client issues, and create comprehensive insurance solutions.
  • Review and ensure accuracy of policy documents prior to delivery to clients.
  • Maintain up-to-date Epic workflows and ensure all documentation and procedures comply with company standards.
  • Prepare and present proposals and stewardship reviews for new and existing clients.
  • Manage account documentation including quotes, binders, statements of values, contracts, endorsements, and cancellations.
  • Process renewals at least 60 days in advance and issue invoices/billing for client files.
  • Provide Certificates of Insurance for commercial clients and quotes for new business (auto, property, fleet, etc.).
  • Participate in cross-sell and retention campaigns, identifying opportunities to expand coverage or add new policies.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, underwriters, and carrier partners.
  • Provide backup support to fellow Account Managers as needed to maintain seamless client service.
  • Maintain accurate client communication records and ensure timely follow-ups on outstanding items.
  • Issue pink slips, pull A+/MVR/Dash reports, and handle other administrative duties as required.
  • Participate in training and professional development to enhance insurance product knowledge and client service skills.
  • Demonstrate a positive and professional attitude, addressing client concerns calmly and effectively to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Be familiar with EPIC, Applied Rating, Billing/Transacting Agency Bill Accounts.
