The Account Manager at SJ Adams is responsible for maintaining solid customer relationships by handling personal and insurance coverage inquiries and concerns with speed and professionalism through daily interaction with customers, insurance carriers, and fellow employees while conducting specific service and marketing activities.

Responsibilities
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, insurance carriers, and other vendors to ensure long‑term consistent business growth.
  • Handle clerical tasks and basic client questions, endorsements, audits, commercial renewal reviews, and writing insurance policies.
  • Direct marketing activities for requests for proposals.
  • Process new business, rewrites, and insurance reviews, as well as certificates and other documents.
Qualifications
  • 3+ years’ insurance experience.
  • Current Property and Casualty license.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with exceptional organizational skills.
  • Proficient computer skills including Agency Management Systems and Microsoft Word.
