A health services provider in Alberta is seeking a Combined Laboratory and X-Ray Technologist II to oversee operations in the Manning Community Health Centre. Your Opportunity: The Manning Community Health Centre is actively hiring a CLXT II. Take this opportunity to mentor and supervise the day-to-day operation of department staff and services in their area. You will be responsible for the coordination, organization and operation of the site Laboratory and Diagnostic Imaging departments. With a customer service focused approach, you build productive and respectful customer relations and take responsibility for customer satisfaction. APL currently has a Remote Retention Allowance in place to an annual maximum of $3,000. This allowance is non-pensionable and is payable on an hourly basis for all hours paid at the basic rate of pay. Relocation assistance may be available. This role works a variety of shifts. Located approximately 73 km northwest of Peace River and situated in the valley of the Notikewin River, lies the Town of Manning. Manning has a population of 1,256 and offers community services and recreational opportunities. The town has its own hospital with 10 acute care beds and 16 continuing care beds.
As a Combined Laboratory and X-Ray Technologist II, you will direct and supervise the day-to-day operation of department staff and services in their area. You will be responsible for the coordination, organization and operation of the site Laboratory and Diagnostic Imaging departments. You will also be responsible to perform site specific manual and automated laboratory procedures, diagnostic imaging exams, cardiology procedures and related duties following established standards and practice defined by the ACCLXT, CPSA and Health Professions Act.
