Located at our office in downtown Saskatoon or South Calgary, and reporting to a Senior Manager, Cash Accounting, Intercompany & Treasury Accounting, Nutrien currently has an exciting Co-op opportunity within Financial Business Services Record to Report. Providing invaluable work experience in a growing company, this position term is for 8-12 months.

Responsibilities

• Administer daily bank transactions, posting journal entries and working with Accounts Payable and Treasury.
• Assist intercompany team with daily activities to post and clear entries, and related activities.
• Assist with the preparation of bank reconciliations and related activities.
• Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and ad-hoc reports.
• Support on-going initiatives and special projects.

Qualifications

• 3rd or 4th year student enrolled in the Bachelor of Commerce Co-op program or Bachelor of Applied Business Administration program, and returning to full-time studies upon completion of work term.
• Progress toward a degree in business, accounting, or finance.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Products with extensive knowledge of Excel.
• Excellent communication, analytical and organizational skills.
• High attention to detail is critical.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and interface with various levels of management in a multi-task, deadline orientated, team environment.
