A provincial government agency in Fort St. John is seeking an Administrative Support professional to provide program support in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have strong customer service skills and experience working with computer applications. This full-time role requires multitasking and the ability to adapt to changing priorities. Join a diverse team dedicated to supporting families in crisis.
The Fort St. John Ministry of Children administrative team is a small, established, and diverse group of four. The team supports services in child protection, child and youth support needs, and mental health. Staff include directors, a finance analyst, clinicians, and the child protection team. Their shared goal is to support families in crisis and help alleviate some of the pressure they face.
In this role, you will provide administrative and program support in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment. Key responsibilities include screening calls, handling documents, working with multiple ministry systems, and assisting clients in a calm and professional manner. You must be able to multitask, work independently, and adapt quickly to changing priorities.
