A regional health authority in British Columbia is seeking a Clinical Pharmacy Specialist to enhance patient care through expert consultation, education, and research. This role involves applying advanced clinical knowledge in a team-oriented environment to design and evaluate medication initiatives. Candidates should be licensed in British Columbia and possess a PharmD or equivalent experience with at least two years in clinical pharmacy. Strong communication and mentoring skills are essential for fostering effective relationships with patients and staff.

Working within a collaborative, patient-centered, team environment, the Clinical Pharmacy Specialist functions as an expert practitioner, consultant, educator and researcher in a defined practice area. Provides consultation services to individuals and groups both within and outside the organization. Applies advanced clinical knowledge to assess, design, implement and evaluate medication use initiatives, research, training programs and the delivery of clinical pharmacy services.
Licensed by the College of Pharmacists of British Columbia. An accredited post-baccalaureate PharmD from a Canadian University or an accredited Year Two Pharmacy Residency PLUS a minimum of two (2) years of clinical pharmacy practice experience including one year experience related to the defined practice area OR an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
