Job summary

A leading care provider in Hamilton, Ontario, is seeking a Clinical Coordinator to provide clinical support and guidance to nursing staff and ensure high standards of resident care. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in long-term care and strong communication and organizational skills. Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience as a Registered Practical Nurse (RPN).
• Prior experience working with elderly populations is preferred.
• Current nursing registration in the province of Ontario (CNO) is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical quality support and education to nursing staff.
• Monitor nursing staff activities to ensure resident care standards.
• Facilitate resident care conferences.
• Ensure nursing staff complies with competencies and training requirements.
• Conduct audits and participate in quality improvement processes.

Good organizational and time management skills

Education

Post secondary education in an accredited nursing program
