Job Information

The Clinical Educator is a subject matter expert in clinical education for health professionals across the Stanton Territorial Hospital and will be working with the Staff Development and Education Team. The primary mandate of the Clinical Educator is the provision of mandatory education that all clinical staff maintain competency through proactive and standardized educational programming. Based at Stanton Territorial Hospital, this position is integral to the delivery of high-quality patient care and adherence to national standards such as those set by Accreditation Canada.

  • Program Development and Delivery of Employee Education.
  • Staff Development and Education Management.
  • Onboarding Nursing and Allied Health Professionals
  • Prioritize and Coordinate Specialty training for health professionals at STH.
  • Clinical Best Practices Support and Resources.
  • Liaison Between External Partners/Organizations and STH.
Key Qualifications
  • Bachelor\'s Degree in Nursing or Diploma in Nursing
  • Current registration with the Registered Nurses Association of the Northwest Territories and Nunavut (RNANT/NU)
  • 5 years of experience in acute care nursing
  • Additional education or training in adult learning
