Client Manager – Federal Government Accounts
Location: Ottawa, Ontario
Team: Ontario Public Sector Sales

We’re looking for a strategic, results-driven Client Manager to join Lenovo’s Ontario Public Sector Sales Team, focused on Federal Government accounts. In this senior sales role, you’ll be at the forefront of driving new business growth, building long-term partnerships, and delivering innovative technology solutions across Lenovo’s full portfolio of products and services.

As a trusted advisor to senior Federal Government stakeholders, you will lead complex engagements, respond to high-value RFPs, and orchestrate cross-functional teams to deliver tailored solutions that align with our customers’ strategic priorities. This is a high-impact role for a self-starter with exceptional commercial acumen and a passion for helping government modernize through technology.

What You’ll Do
  • Own the Federal Government territory: Develop and execute a strategic sales plan aligned with Lenovo’s Ontario Public Sector growth objectives.
  • Build trusted relationships: Engage senior decision-makers and channel partners to understand needs and deliver customized solutions.
  • Drive new business: Prospect, qualify, and close opportunities independently—both virtually and in person.
  • Lead strategic engagements: Position Lenovo as a trusted partner through C-level conversations and solution-based selling.
  • Manage the process: Respond to complex RFPs, create robust account plans, and deliver accurate forecasts and pipeline updates.
  • Collaborate and mentor: Partner with an Internal Sales Representative to ensure operational excellence and support team success.
What You Bring
  • Proven success in enterprise sales, ideally within Public Sector or technology solutions.
  • Expertise in navigating Federal Government procurement processes and frameworks.
  • Strong ability to develop, negotiate, and close high-value deals with precision.
  • Exceptional executive engagement and communication skills.
  • Experience building and executing strategic account plans.
  • Ability to manage complex sales cycles and multiple stakeholders.
  • Resilience and adaptability in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Consistent track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
  • Federal Government Security Clearance is an asset.

Basic Requirements
  • Minimum 5+ years of enterprise sales experience, preferably in technology solutions.
  • Experience selling into the Public Sector, specifically Federal Government accounts.
Preferred Requirements
  • Familiarity with Federal Government procurement processes and vehicles.
  • Track record of closing high-value deals and responding to complex RFPs.
  • Experience mentoring or managing internal sales resources.
  • Federal Government Security Clearance (or ability to obtain).
  • Knowledge of Lenovo’s product portfolio or similar technology solutions.
  • Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
  • Strong ability to develop and execute strategic account plans.
  • Proven experience managing complex sales cycles and multiple stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and executive engagement skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be based in Ottawa, Ontario (or willing to relocate).
