Qualifications

• Must have reefer experience and some mechanical knowledge.
• Clean abstract with zero moving violations and less than 5 demerits.

Responsibilities

• Cover Alberta, Grande Prairie & Saskatoon overnight loads.
• Must work Saturday and/or Monday.
• Must commit to working one day a week.

The Opportunity

XTL Transport Inc. is looking for dynamic Class 1 PART TIME Domestic Drivers to join our outstanding Airdrie team.

Must be willing to work Sunday evening loads covering Alberta, as well as Grande Prairie & Saskatoon overnight loads. These positions will lead into Full Time once those positions come available.

Responsibilities

• Must have valid Class 1 drivers license.
• Must have a minimum of 2 years Class 1 long haul experience (running Canada wide or Canada/US) with at least two consecutive winters.
• Must have reefer experience and some mechanical knowledge.
• Clean Abstract with ZERO moving violations (Example Speeding) with less than 5 demerits. (MUST PROVIDE A 10 YEAR COMMERCIAL ABSTRACT FOR ALL PROVINCES WHERE A CLASS 1 COMMERCIAL LICENSE HAS BEEN HELD)
• Must be willing to work Saturday and/or Monday covering Alberta, as well as Grande Prairie & Saskatoon overnight loads.
• Must be able to commit to working ONE DAY a week – Part time drivers are offered Full Time positions once they come available.

Compensation Structure

• Starting rate of $28.12/hr for AB Regional (Edmonton, Lethbridge, Medicine Hat etc.)
• Starting rate of $0.54 per mile (Grande Prairie, Saskatoon overnight runs)
• Paid weekly through payroll
• Paid wait time at hourly rate
• Paid 2 day in class training and paid 3 days in cab training – MUST BE ABLE TO ATTEND ALL 5 DAYS OF TRAINING
• Newer International trucks and a fleet which is renewed every 3-4 years
