Job description

Overview

The Financial Lines Claim Leader will be responsible for leadership of the Financial Lines claims group in Canada, encompassing the following business segments: Public Management Liability, Private & Not-For-Profit, Financial Institutions, Professional Liability & Cyber, Transactional Risk, and Surety. Claim types include Directors and Officers, Employment Practices, Fiduciary, Kidnap & Ransom, Errors & Omissions, Medical Malpractice, Cyber, Fidelity and Commercial Crime, and Reps & Warranties. This is a key leadership position that is directly responsible for leading, managing, and motivating a team of managers and adjusters who handle claims in all different product lines with varying degrees of complexity. This role includes strategic oversight of the Financial Lines claim’s function, as well as oversight of external related vendors, driving consistent operational excellence and delivering upon best practices with ongoing engagement and partnership with underwriting, actuary, and North American claims colleagues. We are looking for a dynamic and experienced individual who will thrive in an exciting and fast-paced environment. This role reports to the SVP, Head of Canada Claims.
