The role involves designing hydraulic structures and providing engineering support for various projects. AtkinsRéalis has a large experienced hydroelectric team (over 100 employees), mainly composed of engineers and technicians, located in Montreal and Vancouver. The areas of activity of this team include geotechnics and geology, civil engineering and structure, hydrology and hydraulics, mechanics and electricity. Our hydroelectric team covers the Canadian market, but sometimes also the international market. It is therefore possible that you will be asked to participate in projects both in Canada and internationally.
You will take charge of technical mandates specific to hydroelectric structures including dams, spillways, and powerhouses.
AtkinsRéalis is looking for an intermediate civil /structural engineer to join a team dedicated to engineering works mainly targeting hydroelectric projects and who will be able to use his or her experience and expertise to support the client in decision-making or to clarify their needs.
In this role, you will work within the engineering team for the analysis, design and rehabilitation of structures as part of various dam, hydraulic works, building and bridge projects in the field of hydroelectricity.
