Brief Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a Circuit Breaker Technician in our Sudbury, ON office. Reporting to the Shop Services Manager, the successful candidate will be accountable for supporting shop operations such as but not limited to: Testing and Inspections, trouble shooting of electrical systems, disassemble and reassemble mechanical parts, and rewiring.

• Manage resources for project needs
• Liaison with Operation and Service Managers to coordinate manpower and equipment needs
• Shipping & Receiving tasks
• Order and track shop supplies
• Support quoting opportunities based on technical requirements
• Assemble and disassemble mechanical parts
• Interact with clients in a courteous and professional manner
• Identify and implement process improvements

Requirements

• Circuit breaker and contactor remanufacturing experience (Preferred)
• Mechanically inclined
• Fragile electrical equipment
• Experience with mechanical tools a MUST
• Proficient computer experience in Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office applications
• Strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work with minimal supervisionMust be able to independently interact with clients in a positive, technically competent, and professional manner
• Excellent time management skills, ability to prioritize multiple tasks and strong attention to details
• Professional team player with excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Must have a valid driver’s license
• Ability to self-manage with proven initiative and client focus
• The ability to work flexible shifts, which include weekends, evenings and statutory holidays
• Ability to travel up to 10% for business needs
• Must be able to work in a dynamic work environment
• Ability to provide exceptional customer service internally and externally
