A local orthotic facility in Windsor, Canada, is seeking a Certified Orthotist for various roles, including sole ownership and equity share options. The position is full-time, providing clinical services with benefits such as paid vacation and relocation assistance. Ideal candidates will challenge Canadian exams, with the opportunity for mentorship during transition. Located in a thriving area with affordable housing and easy access to major American cities, this is a unique chance to own a turnkey operation.
Looking to make a move to Canada? As an ABC Certified Orthotist, a two year residency is not required. You can challenge the Canadian Exams every Spring and become Certified here immediately.
Clinical Orthotic Consultants of Windsor is a private Orthotic Facility servicing the Windsor/Essex area for almost 30 years (we are just south of Detroit, right on the border). We provide a full range of services from pediatric to geriatric, helmets, spinal and lower extremity. We work closely with the local Children’s Treatment Centre and the 4 hospitals in the area. Presently we are composed of two full time Certified Orthotists, two full time Technicians and one Office Manager.
I am looking to sell the business, so, we are looking for a Certified Orthotist to move into one of these roles.
The position is full-time, 40 hours a week, with paid lunch, paid vacation, group benefits (extended health insurance) and continuing education supplementation. A competitive salary and signing bonus will be negotiated commensurate with skills and experience and level of equity. Relocation allowance can be discussed.
Windsor and the surrounding County of Essex is a hidden gem. Affordable housing, never any traffic, warmest weather in Canada. All the benefits of living in a large American city (International Airport 20 minutes away, 4 Major Sports franchises and unlimited concert options 10 minutes away, right across the border), except you can live in Canada!
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking at sole or partial ownership in a turnkey operation. I am more than willing to stay on for up to 2 years while the transition takes place.
