Each of our 300 clients a year are treated with the utmost respect and are provided a comprehensive evidence-based program in which to find new direction in their lives and healing from their addictions. We are currently looking to hire a Certified Counsellor for our Rehabilitation Facility in Grouard, Alberta. This opportunity will be a one week on – one week off permanent position. You’ll get to work with a growing organization where you will gain valuable experience in the field of rehabilitation care!

Reporting to the Team Lead and Treatment Coordinator, the Certified Counsellor is responsible for promoting positive life skills and supporting the reduction of the negative impact of alcohol and drug abuse. The primary methods used by the Certified Counsellor to support clients is lectures, group work, and one-to-one counselling. The Counsellor will provide support to clients as they learn and develop skills to maintaining a healthy lifestyle. Some key responsibilities include:
