A regional college is seeking an experienced carpentry instructor for summer camps in Fort St. John and Fort Nelson. The role involves preparing and teaching youth in grades 8-12, ensuring a strong understanding of safety and team collaboration. Ideal candidates have a minimum of five years' experience in various trades, a valid driver's license, and an interest in education. Wages are negotiable and participation in a police check is required.
Term of App’t: July & August for a total of 75 hours

Location: Fort Nelson and Fort St. John, BC
Salary: Wages will be negotiated (non-bargaining work/non-credit)
Northern Lights College's Continuing Education Department is looking to hire an individual with experience in the field of Carpentry and has an interest in passing along their knowledge to our youth.
Camps will run in each location in July and August for a duration of 5 consecutive days, from 9:30am – 3:00pm and will be focused on youth in grades 8 through 12. The successful candidate will be required to successfully pass a Police Information Check prior to the start of the contract.
There may be opportunity to run 3-day camps in nearby communities – the successful candidate must be able to drive a truck with a tow trailer to these locations.
