A regional education authority in Nova Scotia is seeking Casual Custodians to maintain cleanliness in schools. This position offers a pay rate of $24.68/hr and could lead to permanent employment. Candidates must have a Grade 12 diploma, a valid driver's license, and be ready to complete custodial training.

TEMPORARY CUSTODIANS for the Chignecto-Central Regional Centre for Education encompassing Colchester, East Hants, Pictou, and Cumberland Counties (Cobequid, Celtic, Nova and Chignecto Families of Schools). Placement in temporary positions could lead to permanent employment.
As this position is casual in nature, there are no guaranteed hours of work.
Rate of Pay: $24.68/hr. as per the CCRCE/CUPE Collective Agreement

All employees require a criminal record check of the vulnerable sector. The CCRCE requires an original check dated within six (6) months from your date of hire. If you are selected for hire you will be provided with a letter from the CCRCE to take your local Police/RCMP Detachment to have this check completed.

The criminal record check of the vulnerable sector along with the child abuse register check will be reviewed in accordance with the CCRCE policies and procedures.
Prospective candidates will be required to successfully complete the Custodial Training Program conducted by Property Services Staff before commencing employment in any custodial position.
