Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years kitchen experience in a high-volume facility or equivalent.
• Experience working in and with the Indigenous Community would be an asset.
• Food Safe Level II certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for basic cooking, baking, and preparation techniques.
• Assists with food purchasing, food production, and menu planning.
• Maintains a clean and sanitary working environment.

Skills

Knowledge of Canada Food Guide for Healthy Eating

Understanding of Occupational Health and Safety standards

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Ability to work as part of a collaborative team
