Qualifications

  • Completion of a college diploma or certificate in a related human services field.
  • Experience supporting persons with developmental disabilities and mental health conditions.
  • Valid driver's license Class G and access to a reliable vehicle.

Responsibilities

  • Support communication and day-to-day living for individuals with dual sensory impairment.
  • Empower individuals to succeed in daily living aspects.
  • Provide personal care and assist with individual goals.

Skills

Communication in American Sign Language (ASL)
Supporting individuals with developmental disabilities
Supporting individuals with mental health conditions
Good communication skills in English

Education
