Job summary

An Indigenous Child Welfare Agency is seeking Casual Drivers in Greater Sudbury to transport children to various appointments. The ideal candidates will have experience with Indigenous families, a Class 'G' Ontario Driver’s Licence, and cultural knowledge. The position offers competitive pay at $20.00/hour, a support-focused work environment, and the possibility of contract extension, pending funding. Preference is given to Indigenous applicants.

Qualifications

  • Experience working with Indigenous agencies and families.
  • Physically able to assist clients in and out of vehicles.
  • A strong understanding of Anishnawbek culture is beneficial.

Responsibilities

  • Adhere to legislative and organizational policies.

Skills

Experience with First Nation or Indigenous agencies, children, and families
