Are you interested in a career with Interior Health but would like some extra support along the way?

The Indigenous Career Support Program is designed to provide one-on-one coaching, career readiness support, and resources for individuals pursuing opportunities with Interior Health.

This program is part of Interior Health’s commitment to building a workforce that honours Truth and Reconciliation, the Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples Act (DRIPA), and our responsibility to provide culturally safe care and services.

This program is intended for individuals who voluntarily self-identify as First Nations, Métis, and/or Inuit. Providing this information helps us ensure the program is offered to the audience it is intended to support.

Ready to start your career in healthcare?

Step 1

Click the “apply” button. You will be redirected to Sign-In or Create a profile.

  1. If you already have a profile:
    1. Enter your email address, click “Continue”
    2. Input your password
    3. You will be redirected to your online profile where you will answer a few questions, upload your resume and/or cover letter and supporting documents (certifications, education, typing tests, food safe, etc.)
    4. “Confirm Application”
    5. Review your information then “Submit Application.”
  2. If this is your first time applying, follow the steps below: (this process takes less than five minutes).
    1. Click on "Sign In/Create Profile"
    2. Complete name and contact information including an email address and password you will use to access your profile.
    3. Agree to the terms and use of the website.
    4. You will receive an email confirmation to Activate your email address; please ensure you complete this step.
    5. Sign In, this redirects you to Interior Health’s Career page.
    6. Click on your Name (upper right corner), select “Profile.”
    7. Complete the demographics page, verify address, and answer the required questions. Click Save.
    8. Click on the “Attachments” tab to upload your resume, cover letter, proof of COVID-19 vaccination and any supporting documents required. (Certifications, education, typing tests, food safe, etc.) See acceptable file types below.
    9. Select attachment type, choose your file and “add attachment”, then Save.

We accept the following file versions:

  • Adobe Acrobat Reader (.pdf)
  • Text File (.txt)
  • Rich Text Format File (.rtf)
  • Graphic or Photo File (.jpg)
  • High Quality Graphic File (.tif)
