A leading retail company in Canada seeks an HR specialist to provide generalist services for the business unit. Responsibilities include staffing, training, and performance management while partnering with management. The ideal candidate will manage a team dedicated to HR support and promote a positive working environment. This role demands strong skills in associate relations and oversight of recruitment processes. The position will also involve investigating incidents and making improvements to HR practices.
Responsible for providing a generalist HR service to a business unit covering responsibilities including but not limited to; staffing, training, performance management, associate relations, compliance with HR policies and procedures, investigations as well as both broad and market specific regulatory requirements for their assigned region. This position partners closely with the General Manager(s) and other management team members on a regular basis.
