Business System Analyst

Daily Responsibilities

• Gather, document, and manage Functional and Non-Function business requirements from key Stakeholders
• Facilitate meetings with business and development teams
• Project Planning and Management
• Create Low-res mockups of reports
• Perform qualitative and quantitative UAT and UI validation against business requirements
• Pull data from MS SQL to validate business metric logic and aggregations against Tableau reporting
• Manage French translations via 3rd-party vendor
• Metric definition documentation
• Prepare launch communications

Must Have Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or other related field
• 5+ years’ experience as a Business Analyst or Business Systems Analyst
• 3+ years’ experience collecting and documenting business requirements
• 2-3 years of experience on working with data/reporting projects
• 2-3 years of experience with database and reporting tools (e.g. Tableau, SQL)
• 2-3 years’ experience with functional testing/data validation
• 1-2 years project management (as an asset)

Nice to Have Skills

• 2-3 Years experience working for Financial Institutions with Commercial
• CBAP certification
• Professional Scrum Certified
• PMP Certification
• Kanban training
• Jira and Confluence Experience
• Experience with Intelligent Design
