Summary

Reporting to the Business Services Department, the Business Services Advisor is responsible for supporting the team by carrying out analysis and sales support activities. The incumbent is responsible for establishing and maintaining personalized business relationships with non-assigned business members and thus supporting them in achieving their financial objectives by providing an integrated service offering of the Caisse’s products and services.

Responsibilities
  • Serve non-assigned commercial, industrial, and agricultural clientele consisting of very small businesses with varying financing needs.
  • Develop and maintain business relationships with customers to promote and sell the Caisse’s products and services.
  • Open accounts, establish authorized transit, and sell complementary products and services that meet customer needs.
  • Identify and analyze the needs of members, develop a suitable solution, and prepare an integrated service offer for non-regular members.
  • Support account managers in offering complementary products and services.
  • Contribute to the business development objectives of the sector by prospecting, identifying, and developing new business opportunities; solicit and sell products and services with a balance between member satisfaction, profitability, and risk.
  • Comply with the policies, practices, and standards in force as well as the various laws governing the distribution of financial products and services.
  • Ensure sound and prudent risk management for the entire portfolio under responsibility.
Qualifications
  • College diploma in accounting (or related field) and/or 2 years of experience in financial services, including one year in the business sector.
  • Be proficient in both official languages.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
  • Demonstrate professional rigor and thoroughness.
  • Ability to set priorities.
  • Good financial analysis and income statement skills.
  • Knowledge of government business assistance programs.
  • Strong sales acumen.
  • Familiarity with financial, economic, political, and legislative news as well as all products and services intended for companies.
Working conditions

Service Centre: Longlac, Hearst or Mattice

Employee Status: Permanent, full-time, 36 hours/week

Remuneration: Based on level N6 ($60,523 – $74,763) of the current salary range
