Job Summary

We are seeking a Business Intelligence Specialist to design, build, and optimize enterprise data and reporting solutions using Microsoft technologies. This role requires deep SQL Server expertise and advanced Power BI development skills to turn complex data into clear, actionable insights that support business decision-making.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and manage Microsoft SQL Server database solutions, ensuring performance, security, and scalability.
  • Develop and optimize Power BI dashboards, reports, and visualizations.
  • Translate business requirements into BI solutions in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Design and implement ETL processes and enterprise-level data pipelines.
  • Maintain data governance, integrity, and security across BI environments.
  • Troubleshoot and enhance existing BI solutions for usability and efficiency.
  • Stay current on Microsoft BI technologies and recommend process or tool improvements.
Required Experience
  • 5+ years in BI, data engineering, or database development with Microsoft technologies
  • Proven experience in SQL Server design, development, and administration
  • Advanced Power BI proficiency (datasets, DAX, data modeling, dashboards)
  • Strong knowledge of ETL processes, data warehousing, and performance tuning
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, or related field (or equivalent work experience)
Nice-to-Have Experience
  • Power Automate and Power Apps for workflow and app development
  • Azure Data Services (Data Factory, Synapse, Data Lake)
  • Data governance frameworks and security best practices
  • Exposure to data science concepts (predictive analytics, ML with Python, R, or Azure ML)
