About the Role
We are seeking a motivated, results-driven Business Growth Associate to join an established digital marketing agency. This role is ideal for an early-career sales professional who has built initial momentum and is ready to further develop their sales craft in a modern, performance-driven environment.
This is a hands-on sales role, focused on acquiring new clients and promoting digital marketing services. You will work closely with leadership and marketing teams in a collaborative, execution-focused setting.
Key Responsibilities
Client Acquisition & Sales
- Build and close new business from inbound leads and self-generated prospects using modern outbound and inbound methods (LinkedIn, cold outreach, CRM activity, networking, referrals, events).
- Conduct structured discovery calls to understand client needs and translate challenges into tailored digital marketing solutions.
- Develop and present proposals in collaboration with internal teams.
- Manage pipeline activity, forecasts, and sales documentation within the CRM and contract platform.
- Consistently meet and exceed individual sales targets.
Client Relationship Support
- Support new clients through onboarding, kickoff calls, and early-stage alignment to ensure strong launches and retention.
- Maintain active relationships through regular communication and strategic check-ins.
- Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities in collaboration with internal teams.
Brand Representation & Events
- Represent the company at tradeshows, networking events, and industry functions.
- Participate in internal and client strategy discussions as required.
Strategic Contribution
- Contribute ideas to improve sales processes, messaging, and go-to-market execution.
- Play an active role in shaping how the sales function evolves as the business scales.
Required Qualifications (Very Important to Client)
- 2–4 years of sales experience in business development, account management, or a similar role
- Hands-on sales success — candidates must be able to clearly articulate how they personally converted leads, closed deals, and generated revenue
- Digital marketing experience or strong understanding of the landscape (agency experience, SaaS, self-taught, or formal education all acceptable).
- Proven ability to manage a pipeline and hit or exceed targets.
- Strong discovery, presentation, and negotiation skills with a consultative approach.
- Comfortable using CRM systems, sales tools, and virtual meeting platforms.
