Job Title:

Business Development Manager

Job Summary:

Our client in Ottawa, Ontario is currently seeking a Business Development Manger to join their team!

Responsibilities:

  • Supporting campaign managers and lines of business
  • Researching and report writing
  • Maintaining contact database and ensure it is kept current
  • Developing and maintaining organizational charts
  • Attending trade shows and seminars and assist in their preparations
  • Meeting with suppliers
  • Assisting in the response to all governance, compliance and other internal requirements
  • Preparing and coordinating all sponsorship and community investment requests
  • Buying and Selling tracking and reporting
  • Performing additional functions as required
Qualifications:
  • Experience and knowledge of the Canadian defence industry is essential
  • A policy background that includes research and report writing would be preferred
  • Proven ability to communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing, in a professional environment
  • Proven ability to work autonomously, use sound judgement and set priorities to achieve tasks in-line with agreed timeframes, particularly whilst working under pressure
  • Microsoft Office software, and particularly power point experience to a comprehensive level is essential
