Overview

Lead - BFSI Recruitment at IFG - IT / Functional. Our client, a Top 5 Canadian Bank, is looking to hire a Business Consultant – Senior for a 6-month contract. This is a hybrid role requiring in-office presence at their downtown Toronto location (2–3 days per week).

Responsibilities
  • Manage end-to-end sourcing opportunities and vendor management.
  • Draft and negotiate commercial agreements; provide strong contract mediation and negotiation support.
  • Lead risk management activities in procurement or related functions.
  • Coordinate multiple deliverables and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrate strong contract negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
Qualifications
  • Must-Have Skills
    • 5+ years of procurement experience managing end-to-end sourcing opportunities and vendor management.
    • 5+ years of legal counsel / contract drafting and strong expertise in negotiating commercial agreements.
    • 2+ years of demonstrated risk management experience in procurement or related functions.
    • Proven ability to manage multiple deliverables and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
    • Strong contract negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
  • Nice-to-Have Skills
    • Business analyst experience in procurement or financial services.
    • Previous experience working in a Big 5 Canadian Bank.
    • Technical writing skills for documentation, policies, and process materials.
    • Experience with Coupa or other procurement systems / tools.
