Job details

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Work setting: Supervision. Tasks: Recommend measures to improve work methods. Resolve work problems, provide technical advice and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality. Train or arrange for training. Dispatch bus drivers and monitor routes. Monitor and operate signal and track switch control panel. Co-ordinate and schedule activities. Ensure health and safety regulations are followed. Recommend personnel actions. Co-ordinate repairs and rentals. Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies. Supervision: 5-10 people. Bus drivers, subway operators and other transit operators.

Computer and technology knowledge: MS Excel. MS Office. MS Outlook. MS Word.

Transportation/travel information: Own vehicle. Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots.

Personal suitability: Flexibility. Organized. Team player.

Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year.
