Birchfrog Inc. is seeking a dedicated Building Maintenance Worker to perform general repair and maintenance tasks at our property located in Clarksburg, Ontario. The successful candidate will ensure the safe, clean, and efficient operation of our facility.

Main Duties:

• Perform routine inspections and maintenance of building systems (electrical, plumbing, HVAC)
• Conduct minor repairs including patching walls, painting, replacing fixtures, and fixing leaks
• Maintain exterior areas including sidewalks, landscaping, and entrances
• Monitor building security and safety systems
• Handle garbage and recycling collection and disposal
• Coordinate with contractors for major repairs
• Keep accurate maintenance logs and report issues to management
• Janitorial duties including cleaning of all buildings in a weekly rotation

Requirements:

• Completion of secondary school
• 2+ years of experience in a building maintenance role preferred or in a technical role involving repairs / maintenance
• General knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely
• Physically able to lift and carry items, stand for long periods, and climb ladders
• Willing to live in the employer’s household – accommodation will be provided
