Surespan is seeking skilled Carpenters. These are all full time, permanent positions for the right candidates and provide strong opportunities for growth and stability.

Responsibilities
- Work directly with the Site Superintendent and Foreman to complete carpentry tasks related to bridge construction
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
- Build forms, falsework, and structural components for bridge projects
- Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood, steel, and other construction materials
- Assist with installation of rebar, concrete pours, and other structural elements
- Operate a variety of hand tools, power tools and construction equipment
- Rig Cranes and give proper hand signals for material placement
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Participate in safety meetings and site orientations
- Follow all safety protocols and hold a valid fall protection ticket
- Typically working 10 hours a day 6 days a week with Sundays off
What you Bring (Qualifications)
- Minimum 2 years of Carpentry experience (Bridge Construction Preferred)
- Proven history of safe practice working on construction sites
- Willingness and ability to perform the required tasks (lifting, carrying, moving materials up to 50 lbs)
- Good work ethic and attitude towards hard work and long hours
- Strong attention to detail, with a keen eye to identify issues or problems before they arise
- Familiarity with a wide range of hand tools, power tools and construction materials
- Positive attitude and a strong desire to build a career in bridge construction
