As a Body Controls Calibration & Test Engineer, you’ll play a critical role in developing and validating the electronic control systems that bring our vehicles to life.

This is a high-impact role where you’ll own technical solutions from concept through validation, act as a subject matter expert, and collaborate across teams to deliver safe, reliable, and high-quality vehicle systems.

What You’ll Do
  • Lead technical solutions across requirements definition, functional decomposition, calibration, and validation for body control systems.
  • Develop and validate calibration and test deliverables, ensuring quality, compliance, and alignment with program goals.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve software anomalies, driving continuous improvement in system robustness.
  • Perform complex design analysis, balancing requirements across features and functions.
  • Share best practices and support consistency across the global software community.
  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for at least one platform or component, mentoring and guiding peers.
  • Present data-driven insights, proposals, and recommendations to cross-functional stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical, Computer, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years’ experience in calibration, testing, or validation of automotive systems (body controls experience a plus).
  • Strong background in system requirements, design analysis, and test execution.
  • Advanced problem-solving skills and the ability to propose innovative solutions to non-standard challenges.
  • Proven track record of working independently and mentoring less experienced engineers.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders.

Hybrid - This role is categorized as hybrid. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to the Oshawa Elevation Centre or the Markham Elevation Centre three times per week, at minimum.
