Job summary

A leading healthcare provider in Toronto is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Birthing Unit. The role requires providing total patient care to women during childbirth and postpartum. Qualifications

• Proficiency in initiating IV therapy and venipuncture skills preferred.
• Recent Birthing Unit experience required.
• Willingness to be cross-trained to one other area within the Women’s & Children’s Health Program.

Responsibilities

• RN responsibilities focusing on care to women during antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum periods.
• Scrubbing and circulating for cesarean births.
• Work on the Mother Baby Unit when needed.

Education

Current RN registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario

BCLS/CPR certification

Current NRP certificate
