About the Opportunity

This is an opportunity to join a large, complex retail organization with a national transportation network and a strong operational backbone. In this role, you will sit at the intersection of transportation planning, customer service, and supply chain execution, ensuring products move efficiently from origin to destination while keeping partners informed every step of the way.

You will work closely with distribution centres, retail locations, third-party carriers, and internal stakeholders across Canada. Your ability to communicate clearly, especially in French with Quebec-based partners, will help ensure issues are resolved quickly and relationships remain strong. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and enjoys being the go-to person when timing, accuracy, and service truly matter.

Your Responsibilities
  • You will coordinate daily transportation activities across stores, distribution centres, and third-party carriers.
  • You will manage shipment tenders, monitor delivery timelines, and adjust plans to balance cost and service.
  • You will respond to escalated shipment inquiries with confidence, clarity, and empathy.
  • You will communicate primarily through high-volume email inboxes, with phone follow-up when needed.
  • You will update transportation and ticketing systems to ensure accurate, real-time information.
  • You will participate in regular carrier and internal meetings, contributing to issue resolution and continuous improvement.
Skills and Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience in transportation, logistics, supply chain, or a related customer service environment
  • Professional experience working with carriers, 3PLs, or transportation partners
  • Bilingual English and French, with comfort using French in written and verbal communication
  • Strong Excel skills, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs, Power BI familiarity is an asset
  • Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to de-escalate and build trust through email
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced setting
