A leading financial institution in Mississauga is seeking a Medical Request Team member to support Claims Specialists by managing medical documentation requests. The role requires fluency in French and English, strong problem-solving skills, and proficiency in MS Office. The Medical Request Team (MRT) is responsible for requesting and following‑up on medical documentation on behalf of the Claims Specialists. The MRT plays a key role in the claims process by allowing the Claim Specialist to focus on the adjudication process and not administrative tasks such as obtaining medical documentation. The MRT also handles invoice payments related to medical documentation. Both medical requests and invoice payments arrive as high‑volume tasks with tight turnaround times that must be met.
