Job summary

A regional school district is seeking Before and After School Support (B.A.S.S.) employees who will assist a Designated Early Childhood Educator in providing support to students in junior kindergarten to grade 6. Responsibilities include fostering positive interactions, ensuring health and safety, and facilitating children's exploration through play. Candidates should hold a high school diploma and have experience in supervising children in a safe environment.

Qualifications

• Prior experience supervising and supporting children in a positive and safe manner.
• Hold a valid Standard First Aid with CPR Level C/AED or be willing to obtain this training.

Responsibilities

• Support play-based programming for students in junior kindergarten to grade 6.
• Encourage children to self-regulate and communicate positively.
• Supervise and ensure health and safety during activities.
