Why this role is important?

Beauty Technology Operations Manager | 9-Month Contract
This role reports to the Director, Beauty Operations and is responsible for all technology that supports Beauty in-store. It requires strong retail operations knowledge and the ability to understand, translate, and deploy technology that improves Beauty execution and customer experience. The role leads business requirements, testing, deployment, training, and communications for all Beauty tech solutions (e.g., Beauty NOW, Assisted Selling, Skin Analysis, Field tools, ordering platforms, workflow tools, and future technologies). It ensures Beauty Operations Specialists and stores can fully leverage technology to drive service, conversion, and sales.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Write and test business requirements for all Beauty retail technologies and updates.
  • Lead end-to-end deployment: pilots, UAT/Production validation, rollout communications, and support readiness.
  • Work with IT and cross-functional partners to resolve issues, identify enhancements, and optimize functionality.
  • Develop clear training materials, job aids, and user guides for store and field teams.
  • Support stores with troubleshooting, adoption, and practical application of new and existing technologies.
  • Analyze data to inform testing, business needs, and operational opportunities.
  • Participate in and support all projects impacting Beauty retail technology.
Skills & Experience:
  • Strong retail operations knowledge; understands store realities and workflow.
  • Ability to comprehend technical concepts and translate them into simple, actionable processes for stores.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, organizational, and project management skills.
  • Experience creating training or support materials for frontline teams.
  • Collaborative, proactive, detail-oriented, and curious about Beauty and retail tech.
  • Post-secondary education.
