A leading North American company is seeking a Baker to produce a variety of bakery products in a remote camp setting. The position offers a 2-week on/2-week off rotation, excellent work-life balance, and comprehensive amenities. Candidates should possess a valid Food Safe certificate and large-scale cooking experience. Starting wage is $23.27 per hour.

Horizon North- Chi Mino Ozhitoowin (CMO) Joint Venture Partnership: Horizon North is partnered with Chi Mino Ozhitoowin (CMO) to provide camp, catering and infrastructure services to the Waasigan Transmission Line Project. CMO LP is owned by multiple First Nations and Ojibway Nation communities. This partnership aims to support social-economic growth by offering meaningful employment and economic benefits for partner communities and individuals.
The Baker is responsible for producing all sweet and savoury bakery products for both the bagged lunch program and daily menu service. The Baker, with support from culinary leadership, will manage production planning and quality standards to meet contract scope.
The position involves a remote work lifestyle in a camp setting with the following amenities:
Bakers work on a rotational schedule of 2 weeks on/2 weeks off. Site locations are in remote settings, requiring either air travel to site, or via ground on our shuttle. You may be required to work nights, weekdays, weekends, and general holidays. Wages are paid on an hourly basis with a starting rate of $23.27 per hour.
