The Systems Specialist is a collaborative and key member of the Cloud and Data Center team. This position will support and maintain the lifecycle of services and solutions to satisfy business and operational requirements using internal and industry best practices.

Responsibilities
  • Design and implement scalable, secure, and highly available Azure cloud solutions

  • Lead the deployment and configuration of Azure services including compute, storage, networking, and identity
  • Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like ARM templates, Bicep, or Terraform
  • Ensure system reliability and performance through monitoring, alerting, and automated recovery strategies
  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement long-term fixes for incidents and outages
  • Optimize cloud costs and resource utilization
  • Maintain security and compliance standards across all Azure environments
  • Provide technical mentorship and guidance to junior engineers
