Overview

AVP-VP, Relationship Manager, Commercial Banking responsible for developing new business opportunities for the bank through relationship building with commercial banking clients, cross-selling group products including wholesale deposits, loans, trade finance, treasury bills, foreign exchange, etc.

Responsibilities
  • To formulate (and to review when necessary) the Bank's business strategies for this customer segment, and to implement such strategies / programs.
  • Responsible for growing and developing UOB China's Chinese corporate customer portfolio.
  • Responsible for growing the Bank's Chinese corporates' loans and deposits (incl. other products) business.
  • To initiate and support introduction of new products to meet needs of this customer segment.
  • Responsible for its own credit due diligence and ensure asset quality.
  • Provide information and advice on issues related to the Chinese corporates segment.
  • Track key corporate announcements, regulations, industry news, trends etc, and to propose appropriate strategies.
  • Candidates to have in-depth knowledge of Chinese Corporates, extensive customer contacts and proven track record of developing business with this customer segment.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor degree from a recognized university.
  • Minimum 5 years credit marketing experience for commercial clients.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong sense of responsibility, leadership and people management skills.
  • Excellent spoken and written English.
