Qualifications

• Hold a valid and current Journeyman/woman in Alberta.
• Ability to work independently or collaboratively as part of a team.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Must own tools/equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostics using state-of-the-art computer systems.
• Conduct general and preventative maintenance.
• Repair tires and perform tire services.
• Handle heating and air conditioning repairs.
• Maintain and repair belts and hoses.
• Ensure radiator and engine cooling systems are functioning.
• Service batteries and starting/charging systems.
• Repair steering, suspension, and alignment.
• Evaluate and repair brakes.
• Perform oil services and check engine light diagnostics.
• Conduct visual safety and courtesy inspections.

Skills

Ability to repair vehicles independently

Knowledge in automotive brakes, exhaust, suspension, tires & engine diagnostics

Track record of high personal productivity

Knowledge of safety and environmental standards

Experience using shop equipment

Able to service both import and domestic vehicles

• Brake Evaluation and Repair
• Oil services

• Mufflers and exhaust services
• Visual safety and courtesy inspections

Qualifications

• Ability to repair vehicles independently, while also having experience working well in a team environment
• Knowledge in automotive brakes, exhaust, suspension, tires & engine diagnostics
• Track record of high personal productivity
• Knowledge of, and adherence to, safety and environmental standards for repair facilities
• Experience using shop equipment such as lifts, tire changing equipment, alignment machines and diagnostic tools
• Provincial Certificate of Qualification
• Valid driver’s license
• Own tools/equipment
• Able to service both import and domestic vehicles

Compensation: $69,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
