Job Description

This position maintains a diverse range of equipment including delivery vehicles, heavy duty machinery, on road tractors, and trailers from a variety of manufacturers. Troubleshoots and maintains/repairs various systems including hydraulic brakes, air brakes, electronics, and engines. Performs other tasks as requested.

Responsibilities
  • Repairs all UPS vehicles.
  • Preform PMI inspections and repair and maintenance as required.
  • Ensures all vehicles are maintained regularly and in a timely manner.
Qualifications
  • Able to lift up to 70 lbs.
  • Able/willing to work evening and/or night shifts.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Possession of a valid Red Seal (310T license) or willing to complete an apprenticeship.
  • Possession of essential trade tools and equipment.
  • Possession of a clean driver’s abstract/record (must not be obtained more than a month ago before your interview date) showing:
  • No violations for the current year (last 12 months) and no more than 2 violations for the previous 3-year period (last 36 months)
  • No accidents and maximum 5 demerit points for the previous 3-year period (last 36 months)
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills.
  • Must pass a pre-employment road test.
Additional Information
  • Job Type: FT Permanent/Hourly- Must be able to work a minimum of 40 hours per week.
  • Starting Pay: $36 For License Holders
  • Job Location: 22 AERO DRIVE NE CALGARY, AB T2E 8Z9
  • Workdays: Monday – Fridays (5 Days/ Week)
  • Shift Hours: 5 pm to 1:30 am
  • Flexibility is required as you may need to start earlier or stay later at times
