Responsibilities
- Pour molten metal into moulds to produce metal castings
- Set up and operate casting machines to cast ferrous or non ferrous metal products
- Operate furnaces used to melt metals for moulding and casting
- Operate or tend automatic or multi-purpose machines to produce metal parts and metal products
- Monitor quality and production levels
- Inspect finished and pre-finished products
- Feed and unload processing machines
- Clean, polish, file or otherwise finish products
- Adjusting machinery and equipment to proper settings
