A leading bank in Canada is seeking a seasoned professional to lead its operations team. This role involves managing day-to-day activities, implementing process improvements, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate has extensive experience in financial services operations and strong knowledge of derivatives and pricing processes. What is the opportunity?
The incumbent is responsible for leading the operations group in day-to-day activities, special initiatives and overall process improvement management. Responsible for ensuring RBCIS policies & procedures are strictly adhered to and ensuring all department processes & controls are followed. Foster a mindset of client-centric service, professionalism, and collaboration. Encourage and support the implementation of process enhancements, simplification, and automation. Provide oversight of the ongoing production of accurate net asset values (NAVs) for the group’s entire fund and pension range that holds derivatives. Provide oversight of all business processes, risks, audits, regulatory requirements, and key performance metrics (SLAs/KPIs).
