Compensation and Work Hours

Hourly Wage: C$36.60 ~C$37.00

Working Hours: 30 hours per week

Vacation

4% of gross salary for vacation pay or 10 days paid vacation per year

Job Duties
  • Assist the owner/restaurant manager in overseeing daily shift operations of the restaurant to ensure efficiency, customer service excellence and the restaurant’s profits
  • Supervise, train and support the teams, maintaining strong teamwork
  • Assist in recruiting, scheduling, and evaluating staff
  • Track and monitor workflow and staff performance
  • Implement company policies and operational procedures
  • Monitor stock levels, place supply orders, and reduce waste
  • Assist in monitoring sales performance
  • Address any customer complaints and feedback professionally
  • Ensure staff compliance with service standards, policies, and health and safety regulations
Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of secondary school
  • Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience in the food service sector, including experience in a supervisory role
  • Additional Certificate: Serving‑it‑Right certificate
  • Language: English
