Job description

The Assistant Manager, Capital Projects is accountable to the Manager, Capital Projects to assist with the implementation of approved capital projects as assigned, and for overseeing the planning, design and construction of CNC’s main and regional campus projects. The Assistant Manager will liaise with consultants, contractors, staff and stakeholders of the College to deliver capitally funded projects at all campuses. This includes, but is not limited to, successful planning, organizing, managing and administering of projects, work plans, and other tasks as assigned. In discharging this overall accountability, the incumbent will operate collaboratively with the Facilities Services Team and Regional Campus Administration, in the areas of project development and management. This position is part of a Facilities Services Management Team responsible for providing a physical environment of a superior quality to students, staff and all stakeholders of CNC.
