Join Hitachi Energy’s High Voltage Service team and contribute to building the future of electrical systems in Canada. This hands-on role is based in our clean, air-conditioned Saint-Laurent workshop and offers opportunities to work alongside experienced technicians and engineers on high voltage switchgear and control cabinets. You will gain valuable experience in electromechanical assembly while contributing to projects that support the reliability of the national power grid.

We are seeking a meticulous, collaborative, and passionate team member for precision work. Whether wiring large control cabinets or assembling high voltage components, your expertise will directly impact the performance of critical infrastructure. Work Schedule

40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 7:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Your Impact
  • Assemble control cabinets and high voltage switchgear
  • Perform mechanical assembly and wiring tasks
  • Use crimping tools, drills, and electric screwdrivers
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics
  • Mount components from drawings and parts lists
  • Collaborate with the production team and supervisor
  • Maintain safety and cleanliness standards
  • Perform other tasks as needed
  • Ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines
Your Experience
  • 5 years of experience in wiring power electronic cabinets
  • Proficient with manual crimping tools and portable electric hand tools
  • Able to read and interpret electrical diagrams
  • Able to assemble components from drawings and lists
  • Background check required before hiring
  • Small-format electronics experience is not recognized
  • Candidate must already have work authorization to work for Hitachi Energy in Canada
