Reports to: Provincial Leader, British Columbia

About Lifemark Health Group

At Lifemark, we believe movement is the foundation of a better life. As Canada’s largest rehabilitation company, we support people through injury recovery and functional rehabilitation that restores confidence, independence, and quality of life. Our clinicians and leaders work together to deliver evidence-based care that makes a meaningful difference for patients, partners, and communities.

Lead with clinical credibility. Drive operational excellence.

The Opportunity

This is a new leadership role for British Columbia and a key investment in our Interior region. Priority consideration will be given to candidates living in the Interior of BC, or those with strong ties to the region, recognizing the importance of local insight, community presence, and regional leadership.

We are seeking a Physiotherapist (registered in the Province of British Columbia) to step into a senior operational leadership role overseeing approximately five Occupational Rehabilitation-focused clinics across the Interior. This network delivers structured, evidence-based services for ICBC, WorkSafeBC, insurers, and employer partners, including return-to-work (RTW) programming, MVA-related assessments, and functional restoration services.

This role is designed for a clinician-leader who brings strong clinical judgment, business acumen, and people leadership. Reporting to the Provincial Leader, you will partner closely with Clinic Directors, providing operational oversight, coaching, and strategic support, and ensuring consistent program delivery, strong financial performance, and a positive, high-performing clinic culture.

This role will have the opportunity to maintain a small, part-time clinical caseload within the network. Remaining connected to patient care supports informed decision-making, credibility with teams, and continuous improvement across clinics.

The Clinics You’ll Support

The Interior BC network includes:

  • High-volume occupational rehabilitation clinics serving ICBC, WorkSafeBC, and third-party funders
  • Multidisciplinary teams of Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Kinesiologists, Psychologists, and administrative professionals
  • Established referral relationships supporting complex injury management, including chronic pain and prolonged recovery
  • Community-embedded clinics with strong reputations and experienced teams

This environment requires leadership that balances clinical integrity, stakeholder expectations, and business performance.

What You’ll Do
Operational & Financial Leadership
  • Provide day-to-day operational oversight across 4–6 clinics
  • Drive P&L performance, utilization, and margin optimization
  • Monitor KPIs related to growth, efficiency, outcomes, and staff retention
  • Identify operational risks and implement sustainable, practical solutions
People & Culture Leadership
  • Lead, coach, and support Clinic Directors
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and psychological safety
  • Partner with HR and Talent Acquisition on recruitment, retention, and succession planning
Clinical & Program Excellence
  • Ensure consistent delivery of Occupational Rehabilitation programs aligned with Lifemark standards
  • Support clinics in managing complex cases and insurer/employer expectations
  • Promote interdisciplinary collaboration and evidence-based practice
Stakeholder & Growth Leadership
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with WorkSafeBC, ICBC, insurers, employers, and referral partners
  • Support service reviews, feedback management, and contract discussions
  • Contribute to regional growth initiatives, service expansion, and program development
What You Bring
  • Registered Physiotherapist in good standing with the College of Health and Care Professionals of BC (CHCPBC) (required)
  • Strong business acumen, including P&L oversight or influence
  • Experience leading or supporting multi-site clinical operations
  • Background in occupational rehabilitation, private practice, or insurer-funded programs
  • Proven people leadership with a coaching, development-focused mindset
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills
  • Comfort working in a hybrid role with regular regional travel
